Privacy Policy

We collect the following, only as needed to provide the service:

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number, and role on a farm.
• Farm information — farm name, location/region, currency, and configuration you enter.
• Herd & production records — the animal, breeding, health, milk, feed, finance, and related records you create in the app.
• Photos & documents you choose to upload (for example cattle photos).
• Technical data — basic device and usage information and logs needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
• Payment information — when you subscribe, payments are processed by our payment providers; we receive confirmation and status, not your full card details.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the app and its features.
• To authenticate you and keep your farm’s data secure and separated from other farms.
• To send service messages, reminders, and notifications you enable (email, SMS, or push).
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To provide optional AI-assisted insights you request.
• To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information. Each farm’s data is private to that farm and its authorised users. We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, to run the app:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage hosting.
• Netlify — application hosting and delivery.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• PayPal and Pesapal — subscription payment processing.
• Africa’s Talking / Twilio — SMS notifications, where enabled.
• Anthropic — processing prompts for optional AI features you invoke.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account (see below) we delete the associated data, except where we must retain limited records to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

You can access and correct most of your information directly in the app. You may also:

• Request a copy of your data.
• Delete your account and data — from Settings → Delete account in the app, or see our account deletion page.
• Opt out of non-essential notifications in your settings.

We use industry-standard measures — encrypted transport, authentication, and per-farm access controls — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your data and respond to issues promptly.

The app is intended for farm businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country by the providers listed above. We take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date, and where appropriate we will notify you in the app.
